Just spent the week in Århus, Denmark. The lovely people of InnovationLab invited me to blog about the NEXT conference. It was a pretty inspiring and intense week. I spent most of the time with the 18 speakers NEXT had invited, among them were Treehugger‘s COO Ken rother, TED fellow Rachel Armstrong and Singularity Universitiy‘s co-founder Rob Nail. The conference was spread out over five days, each day with a different theme: Careware, Food, Digital, Design and Green. Amsterdam starts battle against mosaïk-sticker.

Amsterdam – De ‘innercity-service’ of the city-counsil of Amsterdam is determined to reveal the mistery-sticker, who leaves his ’business-cards’ in the form of tile-mosaïks on bridges and buildings. The color-full mosaïks represent little space-men.

In New York and Tokyo similar pictures have been found. The mosaïks are commercials for a computer programm. The city-counsil considers them as illegal graffiti.” (ANP)
